Quinn enters his 10th year at the helm of Middlebury College men's lacrosse. He has posted a career record of 104 wins and 26 losses, with four NCAA Tournament appearances and three ECAC Championships. Last season, he led the team to its first-ever NCAA Championship and tied a school record with 15 wins. After the '92, '96, '97, '99, and '00 seasons, Quinn was named the NEILA (New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association) Division III Coach of the Year.

A 1986 graduate of Middlebury, he began his coaching career at his alma mater, coaching lacrosse and football in the year following graduation. After one year at Middlebury, Quinn moved on to Tufts University, where he was an assistant coach in lacrosse and football, while earning his master's degree in teaching. Two years at Tufts led Quinn to his first head coaching responsibility at Lake Forest College in Illinois. After a year at Lake Forest, Quinn returned to Middlebury in 1990, as an assistant coach in lacrosse and football. The next year he was named head coach of the men's lacrosse team.
