Publications:
My research interests revolve around the themes of diaspora, nationhood, immigration and transnationalism. I am passionate about all things Brazilian. The vast majority of my published work has focused on the legacy of Afro-Latin Americans in general, on Afro-Brazilians in particular, and on Latin Americans abroad. In the coming years, I hope to link this work to other issues related to various diasporic conditions.
