I offer 1 hour of genealogical research time in any of the Addison or Rutland County* towns listed below for $15 an hour - research to be conducted in various archives: town records for births, marriages, deaths or land ownership, county court records for wills and probate proceedings and local libraries for any indexed local history they may have.

Research will be completed within 10 days of receipt of payment and any background information needed.
Cost of copying and shipping will extra if records are found, you will be notified of costs after the research is completed.

Rutland County Towns: Brandon, Mendon, Pittsford, Proctor, Rutland, Rutland Town, & Center Rutland
Addison County Towns: Addison, Bridport, Bristol, Cornwall, Goshen, Leicester, Middlebury, Sudbury & Whiting
*I will conduct research in the other Addison and Rutland County towns: Chittendon, Clarendon, Hancock, Lincoln, New Haven, Orwell, Ripton, Salisbury, Vergennes, Wallingford, but there would be a $5 additional charge to cover the cost of fuel to get to these, no charge for travel time.

I am available for research in other Vermont, New Hampshire and Northeastern New York locations, but I could not guarantee the 10-day timeframe and I would have to charge for travel time and costs. Contact me for details.

I also have the Middlebury College Library at my disposal. You can search the College's library holdings at: http://web.middlebury.edu/lis/lib/ click on Midcat (Library Catalog) under the search libraries column. If there are items you would like researched and copied the cost would be the same - $15/hr plus the costs of copying and mailing. No travel time charges.
