50. John MARTIN was born in 1794 in Ireland. He moved to NewYork with his family from the County Down, Ireland in the early 1830's. After becoming a naturalized citizen in 1834 he resided and owned property in Saranac, Clinton County, New York, he was a farmer according to the 1850 Census.. On 2 Dec 1852 he made out his will in Saranac, and that was probated on 7 Dec 1853 Clinton County, New York. Named in his will, besides his wife and daughter, were his brother-in law Joseph BROWN and brother and sister-in-law Margaret and Henry DAVIDSON. He was married to Elizabeth BROWN before 1834 in Ireland.

51. Elizabeth BROWN was born between 1802 and 1804 in Ireland. She lived in Saranac, Clinton County, New York until after her husband's death, and removed to Wisconsin about the same time as her daughter. She appeared on the census in 1860 in Weyawega, Waupaca County, Wisconsin and was a landowner there. She died on 5 Feb 1881 in Weyawega, Wisconsin and is buried near her daughter and son-in-law in the Little River or Evanswood Cemetery near Waupaca.

Their only know child was:
