DECEMBRELE
NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
 MIDDLEBURY,
Vt. -Middlebury College football player
Richard Decembrele (Walpole, Mass.) has
been named the NESCAC co-Defensive Player
of the Week. He also earned ECAC Northeast
Player of the Week honors . The junior
linebacker helped lead a Middlebury
defense to a solid performance despite a
loss to Trinity last week.
Decembrele
ended the day with 14 tackles, seven solo
and seven assists. He also had a pair of
interceptions, broke up two passes and
collected a sack on the afternoon. His 30
solo tackles on the season tie him for the
team-lead, while his 46 total tackles
place him third. He leads the team with
three sacks and six tackles for lost
yardage this season.
Decembrele
and the Panthers will host Hamilton this
Saturday at 12:30 in their final home game
of the season.
