The Ring of Fire
The
Ring of Fire is an area of high volcanic activity due to shifts along the
fault line.
The red triangles refer to known volcanoes and the yellow circles to known
earthquakes.
The orange line shows a convergent boundary in the earth's crust;
this is where two plates are coming together.
