I hope to keep adding new photos every time I complete a new project.
Ties
from London
Completed in January of 2000, this quilt was made from a collection of ties
collected by someone stationed in London at the Legal Attache Office. The piece
was prepared as a wall hanging. It measures 45 x 45.

The top had been made by her aunt.

Wavy
Wavy
Shirley in Florida prepared this wonderful quilt top. It is certainly
one of my favorites. Finished in October 1999, the quilt is approximately full
size. A closer view.
Roberta's
Green Frames
A project completed in January 1999 for Roberta Stacey of Pennsylvania. Roberta
provided me with fabric samples for her living room furniture. She selected
the pattern for the quilt from a stack of options I provided her. Once she selected
the pattern, Interlocking Frames, she turned me loose to choose the colors,
quilting, backing, etc. This queen-size quilt turned out beautifully. The green
gives the piece a certain antique feel which goes well with her furniture. Roberta
plans to display the quilt in her living room. Roberta agreed to let me display
the quilt at my College reunion later this spring.

Winnie
the Pooh
A co-worker of min commissioned this piece for his newborn nephew and godson
in California. This crib-size quilt has 9-fabric transfers of Winnie the Pooh
and the big balloon. One of the nicest aspects of this piece, in my opinion,
was the nice label I designed.

Rebecca's
Commencement
A project completed in March 1998 as a gift for my sister upon the
completion of her B.A. from the University of Delaware, with honors I might
add! This quilt traveled to the 1998 Vermont Quilt Festival.

Patchwork
Frenzy
A fun patchwork I put together a few years ago. I still haven't figured out
what I am going to do with it. But, I like the colors.
Shirley's
log cabin
I finished this top for a woman in Florida. The colors are marvelous.
Mommie's
Tulips
A project completed during the fall of 1996 as a gift for my mother. The plain
blocks contain a quilted wreath of tulips, however, they are difficult to see
in the web photos. Machine/Hand pieced and hand quilted.

Shelley's
10 foot table runner
A friend of mine from work specifically asked for a table runner for her 10
foot dining table. We made it reversable so she could have a 2 in 1 runner.

Anne loves Nine patches! Here is a lovely lavendar one completed in October
1999.

Lilac
and Seafoam baby quilt
I started this nine-patch when I was asked at the last minute to give a quilting
demonstration at a local museum. I still have hopes of selling it because I
really have no use for it. But, since I don't really do any kind of direct sales,
I will probably just wait until I know someone having a baby--and I will have
an instant gift!

Bear
Claw Begininngs-Texas Daze
This was one of the first projects I completed. In fact, I didn't even have
a sewing machine yet so the entire piece is pieced and quilted by hand. It was
the first quilt I finished in Texas. Hand pieced, hand quilted.

Purples
and Greens for Cynthia
This quilt was completed in January of 1997 as a gift for Jenn's mother, Cynthia.
It measures approximately 85 inches square. We designed it as something for
the back of her couch. She loves it! Machine pieced/hand quilted. Please note
the colors look a bit strange in these web photos. I think it was just way too
sunny outside when I took them!

My
first quilt
My first quilt, begun after I saw a small ad for a quilting book that I could
order through the mail. I was interested in beginning a craft, and was flipping
through a friend's magazine. I think I fell in love with quilting because it
was not only creative, but it was practical. Your end product was something
you could use forever. This quilt is a traditional Nine Patch with plain rose
colored blocks between the nine patches. The colors are a bit bizarre, I think
the sun was also too bright when I photographed this quilt. Hand pieced, hand
quilted.
The
Christmas Table
A table runner I completed just before Christmas, 1997. Machine pieced, machine
quilted.
