Notes for Elizabeth [Unknown]
Not to be confused with Elizabeth Powell, first wife of her grandson Moses Granberry.
Notes for Moses (Spouse 1)
Moses Granberry lived in the Lower Parish of Nansemond County, VA and purchased land there on May 9, 1726. He moved to Bertie Precinct, then bought land in Suffolk Precinct, all still in Nansemond County, VA. When he died, he lift his wife Mary and three children--George, Moses and Sarah--all minors at the time of their father's death. One record indicates he died October 14, 1760; another in 1753.
