MMG MISSION STATEMENT
The Purpose of the Middlebury Musician’s Guild is to unify the performing musical talent (and those intimately concerned with their livelihood) at Middlebury College. By organizing Middlebury’s musically-inclined students, the MMG will provide a forum in which to encourage discourse surrounding issues pertaining to Middlebury’s musicians, publicly represent its members through an empowered, unified voice… and accordingly, create a network that will advocate on behalf of the issues central to its cause. Such issues will include, but are not limited to:

-The unification of all musicians at Middlebury for a common good
-The indexing of all interested Middlebury College performers / groups
-The promotion of upcoming musical events on and off-campus (MMG and others)
-The promotion of awareness surrounding issues concerning the MMG
-The stimulation of the Middlebury music scene
-The formation of an on-campus recording studio
-The increased cooperation with MCAB, WRMC, and other groups/organizations whose regular operations or interests directly involve, pertain to, overlap with, or otherwise are intertwined somehow with those of MMG, so as to better serve the students of Middlebury College.
