By Sleight of Hand was recorded during the week of February 21-27, 1998. 16 fabulous little Mischords worked their tooshies off in the funkiest 24 track studio in South Boston, Room 9 from Outer Space. The CD was engineered and mixed by an equally funky young lad by the name of Dave Richard. The week was, to say the least, a very dynamic and eventful one. (How else can the week be when 16 females are couped up in a tiny recording room with no natural light?) We drank approximately 1 million gallons of water, used fifty rolls of toilet paper, 250 sandwiches from a great little deli called Arpeggios, Kara found caffeine, 70,000 cups of Dunkin Donuts coffee, and 140,000 little, bitty donut holes.
