Auditions
Come audition for the Mischords!
We hold auditions twice a year, during the first week of each semester. There is an individual audition followed by callbacks with several auditionees and the whole group.
The audition consists of three parts: checking your range, singing back pitches, and singing a solo. Please come prepared to sing us a verse and a chorus of any song of your choosing. Make sure it shows off your vocal talent in the best way possible! This does not necessarily mean that you should pick the most difficult song you know or a song that might be a little out of your vocal range -- we want to hear you sing something that shows us the best combination of your range, tone, style and personality.
Our group is constantly changing and always in need of different voice parts. If you do not make it one semester, don't be discouraged! Your voice part may be exactly the one we're looking for next semester.
