Getting around Vermont and getting to Burlington: |
| Shopping: The town of Middlebury is well equipped to deal with the needs of Middlebury College students as they set up their new life. Ben Franklin’s on Main Street carries the essentials whereas Shaw’s Supermarket a little further is a larger departmental grocery store. There are also a number of local businesses and restaurants within walking distance that serve multiple purposes. Many students visit Burlington during their first few weeks and purchase their winter clothing and other such items from the larger malls on Church Street. |
