UPCOMING EVENTS IN FALL 2011[ Updates will be posted soon! Please check our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information. ]
|
Welcome event for International Freshmen! -Come meet the rest of the ISO board and other international students on campus. Ask questions, exchange experiences, sign up for exciting events and find new friends! |
ISO Cultural Show -One of the most highly awaited moments of the year, the ISO show is a chance for you to proudly represent your country at Middlebury and join other students in learning the finer points of other cultures. |
ISO Soccer World Cup -The name says it all. Join your favourite continental team and sweat it out on the soccer field. It’s all for the pride of being able to proclaim yourselves World Champions! |
American-International Dinner -One of our more recent ideas, the American-International dinner is a chance to broaden the scope of the ISO and welcome all those interested into our fold. So grab an American friend/roommate/fellow classmate if you are an international student and vice versa and join in the fun! |
Dance Parties -It’s just not fun on a Friday night without getting a workout while trying to imitate those belly dancers or swinging in step to the rhythm of Cuban Salsa or shrugging those shoulders ‘Bollywood style’. Our ISO dance parties happen a few times each semester and have music from all over the world. Contact the Cultural Nights and Social Events Committee if you have music you would like to hear. |
| While these are some of the regular events we have each year, every semester the ISO organizes symposiums, lectures, round table conferences and facilitates dialogue on relevant topics. These will be posted as and when finalized. Please contact us with ideas for events you would like to see or help organize. |
