Here's the situation: I need to order Halal meat from Rutland or somewhere
if we're going to have the dinner. Hopefully FIC still has some left
over. If I can't, we'll probably end up having a coffeehouse the
following night in the Gamut room.

Brother Mashrib and Wasim thought a bit about the idea of turning
Bicentennial into a mosque. It already has a dome, several minarets...
Why didn't we see it earlier?

No news yet. Brother Syed and Sisters Rifat and Anissa are often seen
frequenting the building, under the guise of attending class, and
will have a report and evaluation submitted to the Society soon.

I expect this will be problematic for many of us. (Midterms are usually
held around the same time.)
The Chaplain is in the process of adding to the Student Handbook certain
religious holidays when students should not be assigned papers/tests and
should be allowed the day off. As you all know, the only two holidays in
Islam are Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha and these inshaAllah will appear in
the next handbook.

More reports about mass atrocities and sadistic torture in the Russian
concentration camp of Chernokozovo are being received. Prisoners, having
miraculously escaped from the concentration camp, report things no
ordinary human brain can imagine. The guards, having lost all human
nature, are committing satanic ritual murders of the prisoners. Ibragim
Vakhayev from Urus-Martan, an eye-witness to the bestial crimes of the
Kremlin regime, reports that raping of victims tortured to death is a
common and regular practice in Chernokozovo.
The rape of the corpses is practiced in full view of other prisoners. The
guards wear black masks. After these acts of necrophilia the guards
announce to the prisoners who the next victim is going to be.

#9: ISRAEL ADMITS TO TORTURE

Israel admits torture and lies
Washington, DC (February 10, 2000)- During the Palestinian uprising of
1988-1992 members of Israel^s security service^s routinely used excessive
force during interrogations. So concludes an Israeli State Comptroller^s
report released yesterday. The report, finished in 1995, had previously
been barred from publication. It also finds that interrogators
systematically lied about and covered up their actions.
^Most of the violations were not caused by lack of knowledge of the line
between what was permitted and what was forbidden, but were committed
knowingly,^ wrote the report^s author State Comptroller Miriam Ben-Porat.
American Muslims for Jerusalem quickly asserted that the report^s release
would bring no justice for the victims.
