The Islamic Society of Middlebury College (ISMC) is a student organization which was established to provide the ground for discussion to the people interested in Islam and Islamic issues. Simultaneously, the Society is intended to create a conducive environment for all the Muslim students at Middlebury College to practice and maintain their religion.

The activities of the Islamic Society, among others, focus on increasing awareness about Islam and Islamic issues, both among Muslims and non-Muslims on Middlebury campus as well as in the local community.

Some past activities include: school-wide dinners, iftaar and suhuur during Ramadan, discussions on Islam, a petition for Kosovar independence, trips to the Burlington Mosque and the Muslim Students' Northeast Conference.

The membership in the Society is open to all Middlebury students and residents who are interested in Islam.
