Poet Leland Kinsey, Thursday August 21 at 4 p.m. Leland Kinsey will read from and discuss his latest book, The Immigrant's Contract. The Immigrant's Contract is a book length poem of the tales of French Canadians who settled the Northeast Kingdom in the early part of the last century. Howard Frank Mosher called the book "...the most masterful and engaging story of what it means to be an immigrant in America that I have ever read." Refreshments will be served

Indian cooking demonstration and lunch! September 4, 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Join Vijaya Wunnava as she demonstrates how to prepare several traditional Indian vegetarian dishes. Once the cooking is done, we will sit down and enjoy it. Space limited. Registration required.
