Hillel and Christian Fellowship team up to counter proselytizing

Over the past few years there have been intermittent appearances of proselytizing material in the library books in the sections concerning Judaism and Israel (this has been happening on college campuses nationwide), and the Middlebury library’s staff has worked hard to find and remove all of these cards every time that they have appeared. This fall semester another batch was found, and in response, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and Hillel joined together and spent an afternoon paging through of the books in the Israel section and removing all of the material. We then had a dinner discussion and talked about how all of us felt about proselytizing and campaigns like this one. This is just one instance of these two groups working together and fostering a positive relationship.
