PATHETIC LITTLE
FOREST ROGUES

These mild and ineffectual little fellows were living half a century in the branches, when the branch cracked off in a howling gale, and they fell before my footsteps. I picked them up in surprise with some anxiety, cleaned their faces, and put them on a shelf in my study where they can look back through the glass at the spirit ridden forest whence they came.
