Panthers Crush Continentals, 6-1;
Battle for Home Ice Continues

Midd played an excellent all-around game in a hostile environment. For one of the few times this season, the Panthers came out with an intensity that put its opponent back on its heels, scoring 4 times in the first period against an excellent netminder. The team takes the long trek to Amherst on Saturday for the final season game. Bowdoin's win tonight puts them in a solid position in the NESCAC with only Trininty able to catch them; Trinity and Bowdoin play their "Nemo" game on Monday at a neutral site in Mass. The Panthers continue the battle for the highest seed possible and can finish second or third with a win Saturday. A loss Saturday could place Midd as low as 5th place and out of a home quarterfinal in the NESCAC tournament.
