Get Involved!
Last Updated: 09.03.2007
In addition to these opportunities for involvement, there are a wealth of internships in politics offering students the opportunity to "get involved." Volunteering in community service programs are also great ways to help out. If you need help or additional information on ways to get involved, contact us today!
Midd Dems
All students and members of the College community are encouraged to get involved in the Middlebury College Democrats. If you want to check out our events, see the news/events or calendar pages for the latest information. If you want to get involved in the work of the club, stop by one of our meetings — Wednesdays at 9PM in the Pearsons Lounge
If you want to be in the know, join our e-mail list and/or contact us.
Addison County Dems
All students and members of the College community are also welcome and encouraged to get involved in the Addison County Democrats. If you want to check out their events, contact our Addison Dems Representative, Virginia Harper. Throughout the semester, members of the Addison Dems drop in on our meetings to speak with students.
Vermont Dems
In addition to being a member part of the Vermont State College Democrats, Middlebury Democrats also get involved in the State Democratic Party. Legislative breakfasts with local state legislators are held regularly throughout the year and Midd Dems are welcome at many state party fundraisers and events held in Burlington each semester. For more information on these events and to be notified of upcoming events with the state party, join our e-mail list.
National Democratic Party
While focused on the Middlebury Campus and area, the Midd Dems also respond to calls from the national party for assistance. These tend to be national alerts for students to contact their representatives on important issues in the Congress. If you want to receive national alerts, join our e-mail list.
