REQUIREMENTS:

Reading: : In order to understand the lecture, you must read the material in the book before the corresponding lecture.

Daily Assignment and Reflection Paper: Every Tuesday and Thursday night, you are required to write a reflection paper about the subject you have learned that day. You are expected to spend at least one hour for this (Write the starting and ending time on the paper). Every Monday and Wednesday night, you are required to write a reaction paper about the subject you are going to learn the next day. You are expected to spend at least 30 min for this (Write the starting and ending time on the paper). These reflection papers are due the following class. You must hand them to me in the beginning of class as an entry ticket to the class. = 10%

Homework: : I will assign a H.W. problem set every Thursday, which is due the following Tuesday in class. = 10%
No late work will be accepted.

Exams: The exams will cover the lecture material. = 55%

(Exam I : 10%, Exam II : 10%, Exam III: 10%, Final : 25% )

Laboratory: You must finish all the required experiments to pass this course. = 25%
