The purpose of this course is to build on your Russian language skills and develop a more mature and sophisticated set of abilities in Russian. We will read Bulgakov's text in Russian, view and listen to the recent TV serial of the novel, do research in Russian on the novel and its references and write and report orally on our work.

At this level it is my expectation that you will do al l work on time and that it will be of a uniformly high standard. Your attndance and participation in each class is expected unless you are ill or have a conflict.
