The Andrej Belyj Society Newsletter
The Andrej Belyj Society was founded in the United States to foster the study of one of Russia's most enigmatic geniuses. Andrej Belyj (the pseudonym of Boris Nikolaevich Bugaev) published poems, literary theory and studies, philosophical treatises, but is best known for his novels, including Petersburg. The Andrej Belyj Society Newsletter for over a dozen years provided short articles, notes on the profession, but most importantly a running bibliography of works by and about Belyj. I am grateful to Professor Olga Cooke, the Newsletter's first editor for helping me augment my own collection of this valuable bibliographic rarity.
