Middlebury
Climbing

The Middlebury Climbing Wall is located in Nelson Recreational Center. Aside from the climbing wall, Nelson is home to multi purpose tennis and basketball courts. Middlebury's Climbing Wall staff is entirely composed of students, open six days a week.

The Middlebury Climbing community has existed as long as there have been rocks to climb and students willing to climb them. The new indoor rock wall, built by EntrePrises, was constructed in 2001 and includes a cave, roof, and overhang section with belaying and bouldering options.

To find out more about specific aspects of the Middlebury Climbing Wall and climbing community, follow the links at the top of the website.

All new climbers must fill out a Climbing Waiver before climbing. Download the Climbing Waiver here (Word document).
